Choose the level of image quality to speed up web pages.
To change the quality of images on a website, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Acceleration tab at the top. You can choose Low Quality in the Images section to further speed up web pages, or improve the appearance of images by choosing No Changes or Excellent Quality. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Block pop-ups and pop-unders on web sites.
To block pop-ups using the accelerator, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Ad Blocker tab at the top. Click on Kill pop-ups and pop-unders to put a checkmark beside it. You can choose the agressiveness level below and set the accelerator to alert you with a sound when a pop-up has been blcoked. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Remove banner advertisements from web pages.
To remove banner advertisements, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Ad Blocker tab at the top. Click on Remove Banner Ads to put a checkmark beside it. You can set the agressivesness level below. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Block animated GIF images on web pages.
To block animated GIFs, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Ad Blocker tab at the top. Click on Stop Animated GIFs to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Block Flash animations on web pages.
To block Flash animations, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Ad Blocker tab at the top. Click on Block Flash Animations to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Improve your incoming e-mail message download speeds.
To speed up your e-mail, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Advanced tab at the top. Click on Accelerate incoming emails to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Improve your FTP access speeds.
To speed up FTP, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Advanced tab at the top. Click on Accelerate FTP to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Improve your newsgroup access speeds.
To speed up your newsgroups, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Advanced tab at the top. Click on Accelerate News to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Block and remove spyware programs on your computer.
To prevent spyware from slowing down your Internet browsing, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Anti Spyware tab at the top. To remove spyware from your computer, click on the Scan Now button in the Scan and Remove section. To set the Internet accelerator to automatically scan for spyware, click on Scan periodically to put a checkmark beside it. To prevent spyware from accessing the Internet from your computer, click on Deactivate spyware in the Spyware Trap section to put a checkmark beside it. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes.


Manage programs that start automatically when you turn on your computer.
To decide which programs start automatically, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Tools tab at the top. Click on the Scan Now button in the Manage Auto-Start Applications section. In the window that opens, click on entries in the list to put checkmarks beside the ones you do not want and click on the Remove button when you are finished. Click on the Close button. Then, click on the OK button at the bottom to close the settings window and save your changes.


Activate your parental control and change the filter settings.
To use the accelerator's parental control filter, right-click on the Internet accelerator icon in the bottom right corner of your screen and choose Settings in the menu that appears. Click on the Parental Control tab at the top. To start the filter, click on Enable Parental Control to put a checkmark beside it. Type and confirm a password for the parental control filter in the window that opens. You must write this password down; NetPlus cannot help you recover this password and is not liable if you lose it. You will need to type this password whenever you enable or disable the parental control filter or change its settings. To change the filter settings, click on the Edit Filter button. In the window that opens, you can create a list of allowed web pages and sites by clicking on the Add button on the right and typing the address for the web site you want to allow or block. You can also choose which users on your computer are affected by the filter and allow images from other websites with the settings on this window. You can change the filter password by clicking on the Password tab at the top and retyping it there. Click on the OK button at the bottom to close the window and save your changes. Then, click on the OK button at the bottom of the settings window.
