This page is designed for testing your download speed or throughput. If
you think your download speed is slow this will help determine if it's a problem with your
connection, or the site that you might be downloading from.
Click on the link below to begin the download. The file you will be downloading is Netscape Communicator, a
15MB (MegaBytes) file. If you want a good reading, you should be able to stop the download after 1 or 2 MBs have completed.
After you choose a location to save the file and begin the download watch the KB/sec to see if the rate increases or decreases.
If you think there is a problem with your download speed, the first thing you should do to fix it would be to update your modem driver.
