To find the date of your modem driver, do a right-click with your right mouse button on the My Computer icon on your desktop and choose Properties
from the menu that appears.
In the System Properties window that opens, click on the Device Manager tab at the top.
Make sure that View devices by type is selected at the top and find the word "Modem" in the list below.
Click on the plus sign (+) to the left of Modem to view a listing of the modem(s) installed in your computer.
Double-click on the name of your modem to open its Properties window.
Click on the Driver tab at the top. You should see the driver date here.
If the date shown is more than a year old, you should update it with the newest version available from the modem manufacturer. If you are not sure how to do
this, contact our repair department for help.
