On your desktop you should have two icons labeled "Internet" and "Mail." Double-click on the Mail icon to open the Outlook Express
program. (Note - If the Account Setup Assistant appears on your screen at this point, skip to this step. Otherwise, continue with
the next step below.)

Inside Outlook Express, click on the Tools menu at the top of the screen, and choose Accounts. (Figure 1.1) An Accounts window will
open. Click on the New button in the upper-left corner.

If a New Account window opens, click on the Assist Me button in the lower-left corner to get the Account Setup Assistant.
On the first window of the Setup Assistant, type your full name in the field provided. This will be the
name that will show up in the e-mail messages you send. You can use spaces, and lowercase or capital letters. When you are finished, click
on the arrow in the bottom-right corner of the Assistant to continue.
On this next window, make sure that "I already have an e-mail address..." is selected. Type you e-mail address in the blank provided. Click on the arrow in the
bottom-right corner.
On the next window, fill in the blanks with the following information:
incoming mail server - pop.netpluscom.com
outgoing mail server - smtp.netpluscom.com
Click on the arrow in the bottom-right corner.
On the next window, type your username in the blank provided. Your e-mail address is your username@netpluscom.com. (example - If
your username is jdoe, your e-mail address is jdoe@netpluscom.com. Remember to type only the username and not the entire e-mail address.) Type the
password in the blank provided if you want your e-mail program to remember it for you. Click the arrow in the bottom-right corner.
On the next window, leave the account name with the default value, and click on the Finish button towards the bottom of the window.
This will take you back to the Accounts window, with the account you added showing in the list.

Hit the square in the upper-left corner to close the window. (Figure 1.3)
To receive e-mail using Outlook Express, click on the Send & Receive button in the toolbar at the top of the window. (Figure 1.4 below)

The Outlook Express program will contact NetPlus' servers and download any new messages to your computer.
You are finished. Your e-mail program is now set up to send and receive messages from your NetPlus account.
