Click on the Apple menu in the upper-left corner of your screen. Move your mouse to Control Panel
and choose PPP or Remote Access. The following window should open:

- Name: Type your username in the space provided. (NOTE: Be sure to
type just the username, and NOT the entire e-mail address. e.g. - If your e-mail address is jdoe@netpluscom.com, your username is jdoe).
- Password: Type your password in the space provided.
- Save Password: If you want your computer to remember your password for you, put a checkmark in this box by clicking on it.
- Number: Type 3420431.
(NOTE: To disable call waiting on your phone line when you are on the Internet, add "*70," to the beginning of the phone number [without the quotes; example -
*70,3420431]. If you have call waiting, and you choose not to disable it, you may experience disconnects when you are using the Internet and people call
your phone number.)
- Options: More settings like redial, connect automatically, etc.
Next, click on the PPP or Remote Access menu at the very top of your screen and choose TCP/IP.
For Connect via Make sure 'PPP' is chosen.
For Configure: Make sure 'Using PPP Server' is chosen.
Close the TCP/IP window by clicking on the square in the upper-left corner. When you are prompted to save your changes, click on the Save button.
Close the PPP or Remote Access window by clicking on the square in the upper-left corner. When you are prompted to save your changes, click on the Save button again.
Set up your e-mail using Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger.
