Print These Instructions
- Click on the System Preferences icon in the dock at the bottom of the screen.
Inside the window that opens, click on the Network icon to open it.
- The Location pull-down menu at the top should say "Automatic". Make sure the Show pull-down menu says "Internal Modem".
- Click on the PPP tab at the top. In the Service Provider field type "NetPlus".
- Click in the Telephone number field and type 3420431.
(NOTE: To disable call waiting on your phone line when you are on the Internet, add "*70," to the beginning of the phone number [without the quotes; example -
*70,3420431]. If you have call waiting and you choose not to disable it, you may experience disconnects when you are using the Internet and people
call your phone number.)
- Click in the Account Name field and type your NetPlus username. (NOTE: Be sure to
type just the username, and NOT the entire e-mail address. e.g. - If your e-mail address is jdoe@netpluscom.com, your username is jdoe).
- Click in the Password field and type your NetPlus password if you want your computer to remember it for you.
- Click on the Apply Now button at the bottom of the window to save your changes.
- Click on the X in the upper-left corner to close the System Preferences window.
Setup your e-mail using Apple Mail.
