How to setup multiple user profiles with Netscape Communicator

1.    Click on start in the lower left hand corner of the screen. Then move the mouse up to programs.

2.    Now locate Netscape Communicator in the list to your right and move your mouse pointer to that location. Next, another screen should appear to your right that says Utilities.

3.    Move the mouse to Utilities and then select User Profile Manager.

4.    Now you should get a screen that looks like this to begin setting up other users with Netscape.

5. Now you should get a screen as shown below. To continue just click next.

6.    The next screen should ask for your full name and email address. Note..You do not have to put in your full name. You could put first name only, last name only, or even a nick name. Then click next.

7. Next you will be asked to select a profile name. We will use Son as an example. Do not change the user setting directory located below the Profile Name. Now click next.

8.    Next you will be asked to enter the Outgoing Mail Server. Type in smtp.netpluscom.com as show below and click next.

9.    Now you will be asked to enter the Incomming Mail Server along with your netplus login name which is just the first part of your email address as we are using the name user as an example. Also make sure the mail server type is set to POP3 and Incomming Mail Service is pop.netpluscom.com as shown below. Then click next.

10.    Next , enter the newsgroups server name. Type in news.netpluscom.com and then click finish.

Now when you open up Netscape Communicator you can pick profile you want to launch netscape under. Example, We had dad now we have dad and a son. This way each users mail and bookmarks are kept separate from one anothers..

To set Netplus as the start page on Netscape Communicator click on edit, then preferences and for the homepage location type in http://www.netpluscom.com
