How do you know if you have the kak worm? Check your startup folder for kak.hta. To do this click on start, then programs, then go to startup. If the kak.hta file is located in the startup folder click on start, settings, then taskbar. Now click on start menu programs, then press advanced. Next click the + sign to the right of programs and scroll down the list on the left. Click one time on startup. On the right side right click on kak.hta file with the right mouse button then click on delete with the left mouse button. This will send the file to your recycling bin. Now you should close the windows and get back to your desktop. Next click on start, then find, then files or folders. Type in kak.* make sure in the field next to LOOK IN: that you have your C: drive listed. Next click find now. If the virus is on your computer it will find kak.htm. If the file is found right click on it and then click delete with the left mouse button. This will send that file to your recycling bin. Now, go back to named and type in *.kak and press find now. If it finds a file called Ae.kak right click on it and then click delete with the left mouse button. Again this will send this file to your recycling bin. After this is done, download and install the kak patch from the link below.
