Setting Up Your WebTV
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
From your WebTV home page, select "Setup" from the sidebar.
- In Setup, select "Dialing."
- From this dialing options page, choose "Use Your ISP."
- If you do not have the "Use your ISP" option, contact Customer Care at 1-800-GO-WEBTV
to activate OpenISP.
- Read the information about OpenISP and select "Continue."
- Select "Continue." two more times.
- You should now see the screen to enter your ISP account info:
- Click the checkbox to activate OpenISP
- Enter your ISP name: netpluscom.com
- Enter your login name and password, that was supplied
to Netplus upon sign-up.
- Enter the modem dial-in number and an additional backup number ..Enter your local
dial-up number ,supplied below ,in both fields.
- Choose "Done"
- WebTV should hang up and reconnect. Read the information screen and select "Use
ISP."
- Web TV should re-connect to the WebTV Network. A confirmation screen will summarize your
choice and provide you with the option to use your own ISP or use WebTV.
- Select "Use your own ISP". This will cause the WebTV to
redial using Netplus.
- You are done. Your Connected!
