1. Question- By accident I put icq as my homepage and can't get back to your homepage. How do I delete that and make yours my homepage again?

Answer- One thing to check is your icq preferences. Click at the bottom left of your icq buddy list on ICQ or MENU, then click preferences, then click connection. Make sure to uncheck "Launch Default Web Browser When Connection Is Detected" then press ok..If that is not the problem open your internet explorer screen and click on view, internet options, then make sure the address is set to http://www.netpluscom.com or if it is the explorer 3.02 you will have to click view, options, navigation, then type the correct address.

2. Question- How come I didn't receive a confirmation email for any credit. I sent a friend up there and she is now all hooked up. She told me she gave you all my name and everything so what happened?

Answer- The way the referral program works is that your friends have to be online with us for three months before you receive your credit.   Once they have been on long enough for you to receive your free month we will send out your confirmation email.

3. Question- I have tried to send friends on your server mail with attachment of 1.8mb and keep receiving the message no transport provider to delivery.  What could be the problem I use Microsoft Outlook 97 with all the fixes?

Answer-Our mail system will not allow mail sizes over 1.4-1.5 meg. You will have to break the file up or compress it. We do this to prevent email bombs from crashing the system.

(dec 23) 1. Question- Will a 56k modem connect at speeds higher than 33.6 more than three miles from the ISP?

Answer- The real factor is if the phone company has you on a multiplexed or not...  Many times when they run out of copper pairs to a street they will install a carrier system which limits the bandwidth of your phone line.   Hope this helps, take a look at our help page there should be a link to a site that explains this in detail along with a site where you can test your line and modem.

(dec 23) 2. Question- How do these new area codes change dialing patterns?

Answer- If you are calling a number in one of the new area codes, you will have to dial 1+(area code).

(dec 23) 3. Question- How do these new area codes affect the cost of my call?

Answer-New area codes have no effect on the cost of a call. What was a long distance before the new area code is still long distance after the new area code.  The same holds true for local calls, even if the local is to a number in the new area code.  If it was a local call before the new area code, it's still a local call after the new area code For more information this please follow this link.
