- Click on the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, and click on Run.
- In the Open: field, type 'regedit' (without the quotes) and click OK and hit the Enter button on the keyboard.
The Registry Editor window should open.
- Find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and hit the plus sign (+) on the left side to expand it.
- Next, find SOFTWARE and hit the plus sign (+) on the left side.
- Next, find Microsoft and hit the plus sign (+) on the left side.
- Next, find CurrentVersion and hit the plus sign (+) on the left side.

- Click on the Ratings directory. On the right side of the screen,
click on the key to highlight it and hit the Delete button on your keyboard.
When a small window opens asking you to confirm the deletion, click the Yes button.
- Close the Registry Editor window by clicking on the X in the upper right-hand corner.
- Click again on the Start button, and click on Run.
- In the Open: field, type 'command' (without the quotes) and click OK or hit the Enter button on the keyboard.
The MS-DOS command line interface should open.
- If it does not open to a C:\ prompt (example - C:\WINDOWS\DESKTOP), type "cd .." (without the quotes) one or more times
to get back to the C:\ directory.

When Windows is finished loading, open Internet Explorer.
- Inside the Internet Explorer program, click on the Tool menu at the top of the screen, and choose Internet Options.
