Problem: When I get connected it just counts time duration and bytes. How do I view web pages or read e-mail?

Solution: This happens when you connect using the shortcut, which only gets you connected to the server and does not automatically start your browser. To view the web using the shortcut, open your browser by doing one of the following after you are connected:

• Double-click with your left mouse button on the Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator icon on the desktop.
• Click on the Start button in the lower left-hand corner of the screen, point to Programs, choose the folder for Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator, and click on the icon with the browser's name on it.
• Click one time on the Quick Launch button for Internet Explorer or Netscape Communicator in the lower left-hand corner of the screen beside the Start button (for Windows 98 Second Edition, ME, and 2000 only). The icon for Internet Explorer looks like a tiny, blue 'e,' while the little lighthouse icon is Netscape Communicator.
