Problem: How do I change my browser's homepage?
Solution: Changing the page that loads automatically each time you open your browser is easy,
regardless of the browser you are using.
- Open your web browser (example - Microsoft Internet Explorer or Netscape Navigator).
- Type the name of the page that you want to open each time you start the program in the address bar at the top of the screen and hit
the Enter key on your keyboard.
(For this example we will use http://www.netpluscom.com) This will open the page in the browser window.
- Next, follow the steps below for the specific browser you are using.
Microsoft Internet Explorer:
- Click on the Tools menu at the top of the screen and choose Internet Options.
The Internet Properties window will open.
- In the Home page section at the top, click the Use Current button below the "Address:" field.
- Click the OK button at the bottom to return to your browser. Click on the Home
button at the top of the screen to pull up your home page. This page will automatically load first each time you open your browser.
Netscape Navigator:
- Click on the Edit menu at the top of the screen and choose Preferences.
- Inside the Preferences window, click on the Navigator category on the left-hand side.
Under the Home page section on the right-hand side, click on the Use Current Page button.
- Click the OK button at the bottom to return to your browser. Click on the Home
button at the top of the screen to pull up your home page. This page will automatically load first each time you open your browser.
