About Andrew's Engineering
First off we're not some big company. This is something we do on the side and and this
website was created for informational purposes and to demonstrate our abilities in various areas.
So what exactly does Andrew's Engineering do? Well, some of the things we do are custom
casting in aluminum or brass, design & build gas burners for special purposes (including testing),
high temp furnace design for custom applications, analog & relay controllers and switch panels- one
example was a relay based traffic light controller, computer repair, some machining & welding, design
and build prototypes both mechanical and electrical, fuel-oil burner repair & maintenance, waste oil
burner & furnace repair and maintenance, oil-fired space heater repair & maintenance, A/C repair, small
engine propane conversions, may also provide some help in propane conversions on larger engines
including custom parts, magneto repair, delco-remy alternator repair, generator repair and other misc
stuff. Basically we're only limited by the resources and equipment we have. If you're stuck on
designing something we might be able to help with that too. It's basically open engineering touching
on just about anything.
Andrew's Background
Well, I've lived in Southeastern Ohio all my life,
and for as long as I can remember I have always been interested in anything
mechanical, electrical, anything that had an engine in it, and anything that burned
some kind of fuel, whatever that may be. My dad owned
a welding shop, and also installed septic systems, repair cars, farm machinery,
and anything else people would drag in, so I've pretty much been around welding, construction,
and farm machinery all my life. I can do just about anything.
Some of my experiences include boiler design, computers, electrical wiring, welding, engine repair,
farm machinery, aluminum and brass casting, septic system installation, and cable tool well drilling.
I like to design and build working prototypes of whatever I can cook up, and sometimes
people are amazed, or they just simply ask why? I also have an interest in electric
generators.
