The Details:
First the disclaimer: These pages are for informational purposes only. PROPANE GAS IS AN EXTREMELY FLAMMABLE GAS UNDER PRESSURE! High output torches can be dangerous if not properly handled! I am in no way responsible for what you do with this information. YOU are responsible for what you do with the information and YOUR actions.

This is another crazy project. Here's the mini-flame thrower powered by propane. It features a pilot flame that is adjustable, and a push button type valve for the main burner. It requires about 25psi regulated gas pressure for operation and throws out a real nice fat 4 ft flame! You can really feel the heat coming off this baby when you hit the button! This is just about the right size for those odd jobs around the house or shop, for example- In the fall when you're burning those damn leaves you'll have them flaming in a matter of seconds. During the winter it's great for de-icing the sidewalk. I use it to burn the grease off of old aluminum parts before they are melted in the foundry. This is actually the prototype.
