Can you tell me where in the bible it say's that "Every eye will see him, and knee shall bow"? I had jehovahs witnesses tell me that Jesus already came in 1914.How did we all miss this great event???

Thank you for viewing the web site. The answer to your question is simple, we didn't miss this great event because it hasn't happened yet. When Jesus returns, everyone will know about it. For a more complete listing of verses see the page What Does the Bible Say About ...Second Coming.

First of all, when Jesus returns to earth, we know exactly where he will appear. We are told that he will return to the Mount of Olives:

Zec 14:4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south.

Acts 1:11-12 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven. Then returned they unto Jerusalem from the mount called Olivet, which is from Jerusalem a sabbath day's journey.

I think that people will notice when the mountain splits in two. He will have many saints and angels with him:

2 Th 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

Col 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Jude 1:14 And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam, prophesied of these, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten thousands of his saints,

Mat 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

And, as you said, everyone will see him:

Rev 1:7 Behold, he cometh with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all kindreds of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.

Isa 40:5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.

Psa 97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Then every knee will bow and confess that Jesus is Lord of Lords (this is my favorite part):

Phil 2:10-11 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Isa 45:23 I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.

Rom 14:11-12 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.

Rev 15:4 Who shall not fear thee, O Lord, and glorify thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for thy judgments are made manifest.

Rev 5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.

Psa 22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the kindreds of the nations shall worship before thee.

Psa 66:4 All the earth shall worship thee, and shall sing unto thee; they shall sing to thy name. Selah.

These events are not going to be done in secret, everyone will know about it. I hope you find these verses helpful. I find them exhilarating! The thought that everyone will one day admit that Jesus alone is Worthy makes me very excited and anxious for his return.

Greetings to you in the Name of Our Lord, and Savior Jesus Christ:

My name is Carol, and I have an urgent prayer request? My husband Philip was accused of a horrible crime, and He goes to court on the 6th of April. My husband is innocent of all these false accusations. We are born again Christians, and we know that satan is a liar, and these are the last days. I am reminded of 2 timothy 3: 3, and I believe that God will vindicate him. We are standing strong that they will throw this case out because of all the lies. They even turned the truth into a lie.

My husband Loves the Lord, and He is an awesome witness for Christ. We evangelize together for the Kingdom of God. We will not stop, because Greater is He that is in us, than he that is in the world. Our Jesus will rescue us from this. He has met another Christian in Prison, and they say they are Paul, and Silas. They pray together and worship, and Praise Our God, and people are coming to the Lord through this, and my husband counts it all joy for the Glory of God.

Thank you for your question. There many references to wine as a good thing, a blessing from the Lord. But there are very strong warnings about drunkenness:

Prov 20:1 Wine is a mocker, strong drink is raging: and whosoever is deceived thereby is not wise.

Prov 21:17 He that loveth pleasure shall be a poor man: he that loveth wine and oil shall not be rich.

Prov 23:29-30 Who hath woe? who hath sorrow? who hath contentions? who hath babbling? who hath wounds without cause? who hath redness of eyes? They that tarry long at the wine; they that go to seek mixed wine.

Prov 31:6-7 Give strong drink unto him that is ready to perish, and wine unto those that be of heavy hearts. Let him drink, and forget his poverty, and remember his misery no more.

Isa 5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!

Isa 5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to mingle strong drink:

Isa 28:7 But they also have erred through wine, and through strong drink are out of the way; the priest and the prophet have erred through strong drink, they are swallowed up of wine, they are out of the way through strong drink; they err in vision, they stumble in judgment.

What scripture is it found about a man who does not support his family?

Thank you for your question. First I would like for you to know that I am not an expert on languages. But, I did some investigating. I did a search for the word "stand," used the Strong's Dictionary to find the Greek or Hebrew word that stand was translated from, then went back and looked at other translations of the Greek or Hebrew word. That gives us an idea of how the word was generally used.

The word stand usually means to stand up (as opposed to sit down), or to be established, or fixed. But there are some verses that have the meaning of being still:

Exo 14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever.

Num 9:8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.

Josh 3:8 And thou shalt command the priests that bear the ark of the covenant, saying, When ye are come to the brink of the water of Jordan, ye shall stand still in Jordan.
