I love the idea of the engraved family Bible for a wedding gift..... but I can't find any?!?!?! Do you have any ideas where to get them?
Thank you,

Dear Patti;
I tried to find a web site that offers embossing. So far I haven't found one. However, any Christian book store that sells Bibles will be able to do that for you. Here is a tip though, the Bible will cost you more there. You can buy the Bible over the internet, and take it to the store to have it embossed. Below is a link for a Bible publisher that offers great prices. Hope this helps.

Hi there...I had a question about your Quick Cherry Cake. At the end of the recipe, it says "cover and cook on low for 8-10 hours" Is that a mistake? Please let me know. I'd like to try this cake at home :) Thanks for the recipies.

Dear Jennifer;
That is definately a mistake! Thanks for bringing it to my attention and I will make the changes. I hope you enjoy the cake.

want to make a custard bread pudding without having liquid on the bottom when it is finished i make it with milk like the recipes called for i was wondering if anyone has made it using baking powder or just adding egg yolks i also have bad luck making custard watery on teh bottom i use a micro wave cook book i dont want want to use cream if i dont havee to maybe someone has had better luck i wll send a recipe for linguisa with tomatoes and eggs as soon as i can

Dear Manuel;
I have added a recipe for Bread Pudding on the Recipes page. While this recipe does call for milk, it has always worked well for me. If you are making bread pudding in the microwave, that could be your problem. Try using a conventional oven and see if the results are better.

Thanks, I enjoy looking over your page. I’m going to try some of the recipes for our Wednesday night Bible study.

I visited your website and think it's great! I'm a stay at home mom of 3 boys and 1 girl. I've added your site to my favorites and will continue to visit. Thank-you for sharing it with me!

I look at it almost everyday! I get disappointed if there isn't anything new!!! I usually eat at my desk and just surf around from there. I have found all sorts of neat stuff just from following your links! Keep it up, I love it!

Looked at the site. Very nice and I'm going to try the hard boiled err... steamed eggs next time I cook them. I have been having trouble peeling them.

I am impressed! Great job..... There are lots of tidbits out there.

I had to laugh when I read the section on grocery shopping. I am one of "those" people who shop once a month! I plan my meals at the top of the list and then make my grocery list on the bottom half. When we get home from the store I cut off the top half of the list and stick it to the fridge. (This way I don't forget what I planned.) I hate wondering aimlessly through the store!

I list my meals chronologically so that I remember to use my perishable stuff like produce and milk first.

Looks good, although I would suggest that you include your recipe for fricasseed possum with turnip greens in your recipe link!

I have been checking out your web page, great job! Very professional,extensive but doesn't take long to load even on my old machine. I will attach the page to my email.

And now the tip: Sweep only once a week or once a month if you are really pressed for time, LOL.
