The Ceremony Begins

Piper Major, Robert L. Black, a Highland Bagpiper ... Dramatically leads a Combined Ohio Society, SAR - Color
 Guard, and American Legion - Color Guard, out of an Old Covered Bridge .. to the Historic Log Cabin, where the
 "Ohio Bicentennial Historical Marker", Honoring Mariah, will be Dedicated.

Welcome and Introduction

Mr. David Snider, " Master of Ceremonies " ... and past President, of the Perry County Historical Society, ( Current
 Trustee ), did an outstanding job! The Ceremony began at 1 pm, on 15 July 2003. It was the first event on opening day
 of the Perry County Fair, in New Lexington, Ohio.

Ceremony in Progress

The Ceremony was well attended .. and was the first Event held on Opening Day .. of the Perry County Fair, in
New Lexington, Ohio. The Event received excellent Media Coverage .. from 3 Newspapers, a Radio Station,
SAR National Magazine and Televised by WHIZ - TV. The Dedication Ceremony ..was shown on the
6 pm., and the 11 pm., News! Right - A Member of the New Lexington, American Legion - Color Guard.

 Legion, retire the Colors .. 

Compatriot; Terry A. Whetstone, provided the Benediction, and Mr. David Snider,
Master of Ceremonies, and a Member of the Perry County Historical Society,
closed the Ceremony.
