2005 Banquet
The Perry County Anglers held their annual banquet on Saturday, March 5 at the Southeastern Hunting and Fishing Lodge. Holding top honors was angler Rusty Bluck, who captured "Bass Master of the Year", "Heaviest Stringer", and "Most Improved". Winner of this year's "Classic" was Craig Brannon and "Big Bass" went to Tony Martin.
Other rankings include: Ed Snider, 2nd place; Willard Hensley, 3rd place, Doug Clifford, 4th place; Craig Brannon, 5th place; Terry Lunsford, 6th place; Brad Bond, 7th place; Ab Reed, 8th place; Craig Fitz, 9th place; Jim Swingle, 10th place.
A potluck dinner with deep fried turkey as the main course was served followed by an auction with prizes donated by club members, Wal-mart, Swortzel's Marina, and Seal's Flowers and Gifts. Bingo was enjoyed by all.
