About Us

The Perry County Anglers, a non-profit community organization for 23 years, held their annual awards night dinner at the Southeastern Hunting and Fishing Club on Saturday, February 21. All enjoyed a family potluck, awards, bingo, and an auction.

Each Year PCA is involved with Casting for Kids, a community service/public relations project headed up by Crooksville teacher Doug Clifford.  This year this project took first place in the northern division of the BASS Public Relations Achievement Awards. Covered by ESPN, this project went on to win the National Public Relations Achievement Award.  This award will be presented to Doug Clifford and the Perry County Anglers in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Bass Master Federation Classic Banquest in April.

The PCA/OBCF meets the third Sunday of the month September - March at 5:00 pm. at the Crooksville Bus Garage. Throughout the summer, fishing tournaments are held for boaters and non-boaters. If you would like to become a member, please contact Dee Olney at (740) 982-2681.
