THE REUNION COMMITTEE OF THE LR GRADUATING CLASS OF 1947 MET APRIL 3, 2002 WITH 20 MEMBERS ATTENDING. THE MEETING WAS CALLED TO ORDER BY GENE EBERLE, CHAIRMAN. THE MINUTES OF THE LAST MEETING WERE READ AND APPROVED.

BOB BAILEY QUESTIONED MEMBERS PRESENT ABOUT "LOST TIGERS". HE ALSO TOLD US THERE ARE APPROXIMATELY 100 WHO HAVE REGISTERED SO FAR. ABOUT 20 WANT TO GO ON THE BUS AND 50 FOR THE SUNDAY SERVICE. ABOUT 8 HAVE REQUESTED THE BOOKLET, SINCE THEY CAN'T ATTEND.

THE CHAIRMEN REPORTED ON THEIR GROUPS. BETTY ANN BULLARD REPORTED ON CANDY GRACE FOR THE PHOTOGRAPHER. SHE REPORTED THAT THE PICTURE WOULD BE $15. BOB SHELL SAID HE WOULD TALK WITH BRENT LILE TO COMPARE PRICES.

GENE WILL TALK TO SOMEONE ABOUT A PIANO. IT WAS REPORTED THAT A TRAVELING MICROPHONE WILL COST $95, A MIXER $25. THIS WAS DISCUSSED AND PRICES WILL BE COMPARED WITH OTHER PLACES.

JIM BELL HAD RECEIVED INFORMATION AND PICTURES FROM LEE RIPPEY (CHARMALEE MYERS ) TO BE USED FOR PRIZES AND PRESENTATIONS. IT WAS SUGGESTED THAT WE PAY FOR ANY COST OF MATERIALS. JIM MADE THE MOTION AND JIM ROBINSON SECONDED THE MOTION. WE WILL BE GETTING 1 LARGE SNOW SCENE AND 6 SMALL SNOW SCENES TO BE USED FOR AWARDS AND PRIZES, 25 COLOR PICTURES OF LRHS FOR THE CENTERPIECES, 50 MEMORIAL SHEETS FOR THE SUNDAY BRUNCH.

MARY FRANCES BRANTON HAD SAMPLE NAME TAGS AND THEY WERE EASILY READ AND ATTRACTIVE.

THE NEXT MEETING WILL BE ON APRIL 10. THE MEETING WAS ADJOURNED.

Subject: [LRHSClassOf47] 55th Reunion Steering Committee Adjourns

Hi All -

The 55th Reunion Steering Committee met Thursday, June 27th. Final reports were given, classmates in photos were identified and plans for the future were discussed. After finishing the 55th Reunion's business, the committee was adjourned sine die.

Hopefully, Betty Word will post her minutes in the next week or two to fill in details.

A class picnic is planned for mid-September at which time the Reunion booklets should be available and will be passed out to those attending.

To those unable to attend the picnic, who either registered for the reunion or sent in an order for the booklet separately, your booklets will be mailed to you after the picnic.
