Ray,
I just looked at what I wrote you and what I meant to say was that I hoped you are NOT needing a person to take care of you 24 hours a day. I left a word out and it said that I hoped you are requiring their care. But if you do still need their help I hope they are helping you and you feel better.

Hi Ray,
I do not know if you are working on your lrhs website anymore. But if so wanted to tell you that another of our 1953 classmates, Bob Whitson, died on June 13, 2010 in Little Rock. If you are still having physical problems and are not making additions to your website do not be concerned about adding this information.
I have meant to write you recently and ask how you are doing and if you are feeling better. I hope you are getting around better now. You had said you had 24 hour care person there helping take care of you but I hope maybe you are requiring that now. As we get older we do get weaker, don't we? Thanks, Ray, for letting me know how things are going for you now.

That last reply was incoherent. I am wondering what has happened to Ray. He appears to have gone downhill pretty fast. I will follow through with my contact at Microsoft on a way to salvage the website if it becomes necessary. Thanks for your hard work on behalf of everyone. I will give you a call in the next couple of days as soon as I dig out from under this pile or dictation.

From: Pat Spann To: cmorh Sent: Monday, January 20, 2010 12:04 PM Subject: Re: Friday night
I am not sure if you are referring to a list of e-mails you have received from all the different class folks and you have always in the past e-mailed that list to all of us. In that numbered list is when people write you about a death, or an e-mail change or a class reunion coming up, etc. No, the people that contacted me lately, plus me, have not received any list like that from you in quite awhile.
Today I looked on your website a couple of times and saw our 1953 obit list still has not been updated by you. But, Ray, there must be something that has come up that does not allow you to add a person to any obit list.
Also if you are asking if I got any changes even something different to the list I mentioned at the beginning of this e-mail NO I have not received any changes from you in a very long time. The only thing I have received from you in the last couple of months is just when I have written you to add Patti Pauli Allen to our obit list if you could and you would tell me she is on your list. Then I would answer you and tell you she is not on your website obit list. Then you and I have written about you being taken care of and I am sorry you are having a tough time.
Bottomline here, Ray, is this........... if you cannot send every classmate in every different class any updates that you receive by e-mail and pass on to us like you always have just do not worry about it and we will not bother you anymore.
Love, Pat Spann

Yes, you have told me a couple of times before that you have Patti Pauli Allen on your obit list but as I have told you she is NOT on the 1953 website obit list. So I asked you before to just go online and click on your website (like all of us do) and you can see what I am telling you is correct when your website "pops up". As I told you maybe your computer list that you have will not let you add more people to each class list, who knows.
I think a few years ago you told us that you moved in with or near your son. Is that right? Pat Spann

Maybe you just do not have time right now to forward us updates or letters from classmates. I know I have written you a few times telling you that Patti Pauli Allen, our 1953 classmate's name is still not listed on our obit list but probably you just cannot get her name on our list. I know you wrote me yesterday saying there is a problem for you getting our LRHS obituaries updated on your website. However, if you can no longer list classmates on the obit lists maybe you can let people know that they can read Letters from Classmates on their year of graduation and they can read those e-mails and see who died. Just wanted to tell you another of our 1953 classmates died November 4, 2009 and is in today's newspaper, Patti Pauli Allen, who lived in Pangburn, Arkansas.

Ethanol causes small engines (lawnmowers, edgers, and any 2 cycle air cooled engines) to run hotter and will probably cause shorter engine life. Following is a table that shows the relative BTU content of a gallon of gasoline vs.a gallon of ethanol. BTU is a measure of contained energy. You can see that gasoline has significant more contained energy than ethanol.
